Annotation
We work towards an advanced level, where the student will work on understanding dialects and Danish language without a clearly defined background. We also work with pronunciation and linguistic variation in presentations and conversation. A large part of the course will be conversation-based.
Thematically, we will work with current trends in Danish, e.g. focusing on irony, minority languages, dialect/sociolect, etc.
The material will typically consist of shorter text extracts, poems, short stories, etc.
Students are also free to contribute material and suggest activities based on, for example, their thesis work.
