Annotation - Czech
The course will present a selection of significant films, series and directors; mainly from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Purpose of the course is to see how different aspects of Nordic culture is portrayed on screen. We will discuss influences, cultural context and specific themes such as auteur, history, humour, nature and gender. Students will be involved in discussions during the lectures, where movies/series are shown in parts or entirety.

The course is taught in English and is shared by the Danish and Norwegian lecturers with possible involvement of guest-speakers.

Course requirements:
-80 % attendance
-Multiple choice test based on the lectures
