Přednáška shrnuje ostatní jazykový materiál mimo nominální a verbální kategorie: zájmena, partikule, adverbia,
spojky, částice a syntax prajazyka.

1) Vývoj názorů na morfologii zájmena a roli neohebných slovních druhů a problémy názvosloví, přehled
zásadních prací od počátku bádání a v současné době standardních příruček
2) Morfologie zájmenných bází, supletivismus
3) Kategorie zájmen (osobní, reflexivní, přivlastňovací, vztažná, neurčitá, záporná, zájmenná adjektiva)
4) Vztah osobních zájmen ke slovesu (funkčně) a k nominu (funkčně a formálně)
5) Rod a pád
6) Kategorie neohebných slovních tříd a jejih členění
7) Adpozice
8) Konjunkce
9) Dimenzionální adverbia a jejich vztah k pronominálním bázím
10) Základní rysy syntaxi a syntaktická typologie a její důsledky pro rekonstrukci

The aim of the lecture is to introduce the student to the history and prehistory of the Indo-European languages and Indo-European comparative linguistics and their present relation and common features. A special focus will be placed on the position of Czech vis-à-vis the major languages of Europe, highlighting the common heritage. The following topics will be covered:

1. Language change, its scientific and popular conceptions throughout history

2. Indo-European comparative linguistics: from William Jones to 21 century

3. Indo-European branches

4. The comparative reconstruction, regularity and analogy

5. PIE homeland, culture, migrations, contacts

6. PIE phonology (kentum-satem, laryngeal theory, ablaut, sound laws)

7. PIE morphology (inflection, derivation, compounds)

8. PIE nominal categories

9. PIE pronoun

10. PIE numerals

11. PIE verb

12. PIE particles and syntax
