Annotation

Předmět je zaměřen na seznámení s vybranými tématy souvisejícími s udržitelností. Kurz je postaven na diskusi nad tématy, představení provázání tématu udržitelnosti s dalšími oblastmi. Přičemž studenti dostanou k dispozici literaturu nebo budou mít za úkol najít vlastní podklady. Semináře budou otevřeny krátkou přednáškou k tématu, zbytek času věnován otevření kontraverzních otázek z prostudovaných témat.
Věnovat se budeme např. bankovnictví, energetice, zdraví, genderu nebo CSRD a ESG reportingu. Cílem je hlubší pochopení mezioborových souvislostí a používání sociologické imaginace.

The course is aimed at introducing selected topics related to sustainability. The course is built on discussion of the topics, introducing the interconnection of sustainability topics with other areas. In doing so, students will be provided with literature or will be tasked with finding their own background material. Seminars will open with a short lecture on the topic, with the rest of the time devoted to opening up controversial issues from the topics studied.
For example, we will look at banking, energy, health, gender or CSRD and ESG reporting. The aim is a deeper understanding of interdisciplinary contexts and the use of sociological imagination.
