Annotation -
The aim of this course is to strengthen mathematical and analytical knowledge and skills and prepare students for further methodological courses they will encounter during their studies. Emphasis is placed on closely linking the introduced concepts to sociological practice. The teaching approach involves interactive problem-solving with sociologically relevant examples, and students receive references to appropriate materials for practice. Most of the content is demonstrated and practiced using MS Excel software. Upon successful completion of the course, students should have no difficulty continuing with other methodological courses or self-studying new analytical methods and techniques.

2. Excel Functions
3. Propositional Logic
4. Absolute and Relative Frequencies
