Law for Social Workers I
The course is focused on the introduction to the system of law in the Czech Republic. It deals with the sources of law, basic principles of public and private law, basic legal concepts and legal institutions and with the overview of legal branches and relations between them. Attention will be paid especially on Constitutional law, Administrative Substantive Law, Administrative Procedural Law, Civil Procedural Law and private law, especially Civil Substantive Law and Labour Law. The aim is point out relations and connections between legal regulations so the students are familiar with them and can apply them. It is assumed that it will provide such a range of knowledge and skills for their application that is possible to follow in the study of more specialized courses – Law for Social Workers II and Law for Social Workers III.
