The course is interactive, focusing on practical demonstrations and discussion.
The course will cover the following thematic areas: Introduction to AI in Social Services – basic principles, possibilities, and limitations of use. Ethics, Responsibility, and Fairness – ethical questions, data protection, and algorithmic bias. Legal and Institutional Frameworks – regulations in the Czech Republic, the EU, and the international context. Practical Applications of AI – tool demonstrations, decision-making processes, and examples of good practice. The Human Factor and the Future of AI – the risk of “dehumanizing care,” critical reflection, and future challenges. Last update: Formánková Lenka, Mgr. et Mgr., Ph.D. (18.09.2025)
