Syllabus in the course on the master's study programme
Course: Project Internships at NROS (Civil Society Development Foundation)

Lecturers:
PhDr. Petr Vojtisek, PhD. – Faculty of Art, Charles University
Mgr. Tatana Plechackova - NROS

Objectives:
Get to know the practice of project management and management of non-profit organizations.
Gain skills in project evaluation and management.

Content:
1. Introductory workshop
Introduction to the administration and management of NROS.
Introduction to the motivations and students´goals for internships at NROS.
2. Continuous internship
The internship takes place at the NROS workplace or elsewhere according to the assignment. Students are part of the external NROS team, while performing the following activities:
- assessment of project applications,
- assessment of final reports on project implementation,
- participation in on-the-spot checks,
- administrative activities related to the operation of the Foundation
- shadowing the staff of the foundation
- participates in meetings
- prepare documents for the management of NROS, etc.
3. Continuous reflection - workshop
Reflections on the fulfillment of students' goals and NROS expectations from students, adjustment of internship goals
4. Final workshop
- Evaluation of internship goals
- Establishment of acquired knowledge and skills.
- Summary of internships from the NROS and students´ point of view

Certification: 4 credits

Prerequisites: passing the course Introdution to Project Management
Additional condition of participating: Attending the course is conditioned by a successful presentation of motivations and learning goals of the internship at NROS within the Introductory workshop
