Annotation

English

The course is focused on auditory and computerized analysis of speech. The auditory evaluation includes artistic interpretation, broadcasting style, spontaneous discussion, professional communication and errors of foreign speakers. Selected recordings are described as to the possibilities of their interpretation, including the students' own interpretation attempts.
Further work concerns accelerated speech (spectral and auditory analysis, articulatory variability). The students are familiarized in more detail with the analysis by synthesis, acoustic and perceptual aspects of spontaneous speech and prosody modelling - the ModProz software.
The summer term is dedicated to one specific problem of experimental phonetics (according to the current research programme, e. g. rhythmical aspects of speech, hypoarticulation etc.) - digitizing and editing of recordings, analysis in the Praat software, annotation, statistic analysis, interpretation of the results.

Kurs seznamuje postupně s komplexní analýzou mluvené řeči (poslechová i počítačová analýza). Postupuje od poslechové analýzy projevu vybraných mluvčích (umělecký projev) přes zpravodajský styl, spontánní diskusi v různých odvětvích průmyslu, dopravy aj., k chybám cizinců. Na základě získaných poslechových zkušeností jsou analyzovány vlastní nahrávky členů semináře (individuální a týmová práce).

Syllabus

Kurs seznamuje postupně s komplexní analýzou mluvené řeči (poslechová i počítačová analýza)..

Postupuje od poslechové analýzy projevu vybraných mluvčích (umělecký projev) přes

zpravodajský styl (rozhlas, TV),

spontánní diskusi v různých odvětvích průmyslu, dopravy aj., k chybám cizinců.

Na základě získaných poslechových zkušeností je analyzována nahrávka vlastního projevu (rozhovor, čtený text).

V další etapě je zkoumána

zrychlená řeč,

analýza spektrografických záznamů spojená s poslechovou analýzou

typy distorzí v postupně zrychlované řeči.

analýza prostřednictvím syntézy a s akustickými a percepční aspekty spontánní řeči (základy počítačové analýzy, modelování aj.).
