The aim of the course is to provide students with a practical and interactive hands-on training of fundamental project
management techniques. The main focus is put on practical aspects of project management so that students are able to
integrate fast into project team environment in real life situations. By the end of the course, students will be able:

- to understand and use basic project management terminology
- to describe individual phases of the project-life-cycle (project initiation, planning, execution, closure)
- to distinguish roles and responsibilities within the project team
- to comprehend and use basic project management techniques (eg. change management, risk management, issue
management, earned value etc.)
- to analyze case studies
- to prepare their own small projects
