The aim of the internship is to enable students to get acquainted with a practical activity in the branch. The students´ internship of bibliology specialization is held at workplaces that preserve historical collections.

Náležitosti praxe jsou stejné jako u povinné praxe (uzavření smlouvy, vyplnění standardizovaných formulářů studentem a mentorem) s tím rozdílem, že praxe je vykonávána v instituci, která uchováva historické fondy.
