Kulturně historický seminář

Seminář je zaměřen na společnou četbu a interpretaci kulturně/sociálně antropologických textů, které seznamují s různými aspekty společností indického subkontinentu. Výběr textů má zároveň účastníkům kurzu umožnit, aby si učinili představu o specifikách antropologického pohledu na společnost a o základních teoretických východiscích této disciplíny. Kurz je určen především studentům vyšších ročníků. Prerekvizitou je splněný Úvod do studia indologie či analogický oborový Úvod a proseminář v případě studentů jiných oborů než indologie.

Podmínkou zápočtu je především pravidelná aktivní účast na hodinách a pravidelná každotýdenní četba většího množství odborné literatury v anglickém jazyce. 
Ke zkoušce účastníci semináře vypracují esej v rozsahu 10 normostran. Konzultace k výběru témat budou probíhat v průběhu letního semestru.
