Cílem kursu je prozkoumat roli či spíše role, jaké zaujímají jednotlivé mýty v Platónových dialozích, a zejména jak pracují s dosavadní tradicí: neboli Platón jako zcela specifický "uživatel mýtu".
Po předchůdné klasifikaci Platónových mýtů i jeho užívání termínů mythos - logos budeme pracovat s následujícími dialogy:
Prótagoras; Symposium; Ústava; Faidón; Timaios a Kritias, přirozeně s přihlédnutím k dalším dialogům. Vyžadovaná je znalost řeckého jazyka.
