Annotation -
The course introduces participants to specific applications of problem-oriented teaching of philosophy to various philosophical disciplines. This year's course will have a strong practical focus: the aim is to create teaching materials for a web portal dedicated to innovative teaching of philosophy.

At the beginning of the semester, participants will choose up to five areas from the following list: 1. Philosophical theories of reality, 2. Theories of knowledge, philosophy of language and science, 3. Philosophical Anthropology, 4. Moral theories, 5. Contemporary moral issues, 6. Philosophy and society, 7. Philosophy of religion and the relation to transcendence.

In the course, each selected area will be covered in two meetings. The first meeting will focus on a well-established pedagogical treatment of one subtopic falling within the area. The second meeting will be devoted to the design of new teaching materials.

The course is intended primarily for students in the Philosophy Teacher Education for Secondary Schools program, but other students who are interested in contributing to the development of teaching materials for secondary school philosophy education are welcome to attend.
