Dio of Prusaʼs (1-2nd cent. AD) Borystheniticus, or Or. 36, stands out literarily not only among his seventy speeches, but also among the works of the Late Antique classicistic “Renaissance”. From a philosophical point of view, it contains a treatment of the relation of human and divine order and a comology of mysterious origin in its last twenty paragraphs.

Borysthenítikos (Oratio 36) Dióna z Prúsy (1.-2. stol. n.l.) vyniká nejen mezi jeho sedmdesáti dochovanými řečnickými texty, ale současně představuje jedno z nejreprezentativnějších děl pozdněantické klasicistické “renesance”, na jejímž začátku autor stojí. Z filosofického hlediska obsahuje poměr mezi božským řádem a lidským zřízením a v posledních dvaceti paragrafech podává kosmologii záhadného původu.
