From the Limits of the Ego to the Limits of Existence

This reading seminar will try to elaborate on the many possible implications/applications of the expression "limit problems" (and its very opposite, the idea of an absence of limits or limit-less experience): what are the limits of consciousness? And those of our existence? The limits of what we usually call "human being" and its distinction from the other, the non-human or the other human being. The module will be based on a series of reading expounding these problems, and the full list of readings will be available on the Moodle page.

Pravidelná účast a prezentace textu v semináři. Rozdělení textů provedeme v prvním semináři s ohledem na počet účastníků semináře. Upozornění: pravidelná účast je nutnou podmínkou získání atestu a nelze ji nahradit písemnou formou.

Regular participation and presentation of the text in the seminar. The distribution of the texts will be done in the first seminar, taking into account the number of seminar participants. Please note: regular attendance is a prerequisite for obtaining the certificate and cannot be substituted by a written form.
