The practical language course focuses on practicing and deepening communication skills in German and practicing selected passages of the German morphosyntactic system. It thus complements the more theoretically oriented courses with grammatical and lexical focus and prepares for the theoretical course Grammar of the Contemporary Language I-IV. Its specific content is variable and adapts to the current needs of the given group of students. Both linguistic resources and speech skills are the subject of training.<br>

The course is not offered in Sommerterm 2023/24.

The course aims to offer beginners a space to practice practical language communication and selected language phenomena. It provides contact with real communication. At the same time, it serves to compensate for differences in the linguistic competences of students who enter the course with different initial knowledge and skills.
