Annotation

Kurz zoznámi študentov s vybranými témami pojednávajúcimi o vzťahu medzi jazykom, kultúrou a sociálnou kogníciou (t.j., teória mysle, ľudová/každodenná psychológia). Napriek jeho interdisciplinárnemu záberu, kurz sa zameria na oblasť ľudského vývoja. Kurz je ponúkaný ako kombinácia dvoch hodín neformálnych prednášok (povinných pre českých študentov) a dvoch hodín semináru pre študentov ECES (dobrovoľný pre českých študentov). Predmet bude vyučovaný v anglickom jazyku, v ktorom bude tiež zadaná literatúra, a bude prebiehať v neformálnom diskusnom prostredí, za prítomnosti rodených anglických hovorcov.

Aim of the course

Cieľom predmetu je zoznámiť študentov so štúdiami jazyka v širšom kontexte kultúry a sociálnej kognície. Cieľom je takisto prehĺbenie schopností študentov porozumieť a komunikovať v angličtine.
