Annotation

OVERALL DESCRIPTION
The aim of this class to make students familiar with a wide range of texts and literary devices through the dubious means of parody, spam, blogs, translation, inventio, cento, plagiarism, reviews, allusion, etc. Classes will be spent discussing students? work. Weekly assignments can be in either prose or poetry. Students will also be encouraged to discuss their current reading and make recommendations to the rest of the class.

ASSESSMENT
A portfolio of revised assignments to be submitted by the end of the semester.
