The first part of functional morphology deals with grammatical categories of word classes. The description of the English noun includes categories of number, countability, definiteness, gender and case. The description of the verb includes regular and irregular forms and the system of modal verbs. The goal of the concomitant seminar is to deepen and apply the theoretical knowledge presented in the lecture.

Předmět k funkční morfologii soustřeďující se na gramatické kategorie slovních druhů. Výklad anglického substantiva zahrnuje kategorie čísla, počitatelnosti, určenosti, rodu a pádu. Úvod do výkladu slovesa obsahuje popis pravidelných a nepravidelných tvarů a systém modálních sloves. Seminář se zaměřuje na prohlubování a praktické procvičení látky probírané v přednášce.

Credit requirements include attendance at seminars, successful completion of partial tests during the semester and the final test, and submitting the seminar paper.

 

The final test, which is one of the requirements of the couse, takes the form of a test with two attempts. The test must be completed in the academic year in which the student enrolled the course.

 

All credit requirements must be met by the end of the examination period of the academic year in which the student enrolled the course.

Podmínkou získání zápočtu je prezence na seminářích, úspěšné absolvování dílčích testů během semestru a závěrečného testu a odevzdání odpovídající seminární práce.

 

Závěrečný test, který je jedním z požadavků na splnění atestace, probíhá formou testu se dvěma pokusy. Test je nutno absolvovat v akademickém roce, ve kterém si student předmět zapsal.

 

Všechny požadavky pro zápočet je nutné splnit do konce zkouškového období akademického roku, ve kterém si student předmět zapsal.

1. Morfologie a její jednotky. Typy morfémů, morfologická výstavba slova. Slovní druhy.

2. Slovní druhy morfologicky rozlišené a nerozlišené (konverze), slovní druhy rozlišené alternací znělosti, alternací samohlásky a alternací přízvuku.

3. Kategorie substantiva - číslo. Pravidelné a nepravidelné prostředky, cizí plurály. Singularia a pluralia tantum. Sémantické a syntaktické aspekty čísla.

4. Kategorie substantiva - počitatelnost.

5. Kategorie substantiva - určenost. Prostředky vyjadřování určenosti, druhy reference.

6. Kategorie substantiva - určenost. Určenost u vlastních jmen. Nereferenční užití substantiv.

7. Kategorie substantiva - rod. Přirozený rod anglických substantiv. Gramatické prostředky vyjádření rodu. Personifikace.

8. Kategorie substantiva - pád. Morfologické tvoření. Syntaktické funkce. Sémantický vztah mezi substantivem v adnominálním pádu a řídícím substantivem. Vyjádření pádových vztahů analytickými prostředky.

9. Sloveso a jeho kategorie. Pravidelné a nepravidelné morfologické tvary verba.

10. Dělení sloves dle syntaktické funkce (pomocná, sponová, lexikální).

11. Slovesa jednoslovná a víceslovná (frázová, předložková).

12. Modální slovesa - vyjadřování modality dispoziční.
