Annotation -

The seminar focuses on a contrastive analysis and practising of grammatical
and lexical means (types of subordinate clauses, nonfinite constructions,
word-order, temporal relations, syntactic constancy, lexical relations,
etc.) through translation from Czech to English and from English to
Czech. The main objective is to provide students with a practice in
conscious choice and differentiation of linguistic means to achieve
precision of expression.
