The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the main developmental tendencies in the Russian literature of the 20th century as a part of the history of the Russian society, its thinking and culture in general (including the emigrant artistic production). It deals with all these topics in comparison with the European and Czech environment. Its aim is to contribute to the development of the range of general cultural knowledge of the students, to enrich and cultivate their intellectual needs, to deepen the skills of orientation and independent evaluation on the basis of the gained knowledge.

českého překladu.
