The course is designed as a methodological and hands-on expansion on the “English Historical Linguistics B” course. Its nuclear parts comprise 1) readings and presentations of methodologically relevant sociolinguistic papers (with ensuing discussions), and 2) based on these, studentsʼ own seminar projects.
