Annotation: Mediation is as an amicable mode of alternative dispute resolution that is present in almost all world’s leading jurisdictions. Recently incorporated into the Czech law, it became inseparable part of resolution of the both commercial and civil disputes. This curriculum focuses not only on the Czech regulation but also on international use of mediation. It provides the participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge of mediation use.

V případě distanční výuky bude probíhat výuka formou online webinářů v čase původních seminářů, a to prostřednictvím ZOOM. Studentům budou před každou výukou zpřístupněna literatura, domácí příprava a další podkladové materiály v Moodle. Závěrečná studijní povinnost účast na simulované mediaci online a esej. "Respektování rekvizit pro tento volitelný předmět je doporučeno, není však podmínkou absolvování předmětu. Volitelný předmět bez splněných rekvizit je možné si zapsat z kapacitních důvodů (viz čl. 6 odst. 6 Studijního a zkušebního řádu UK) pouze v případě, že nebyl dosud plně obsazen studenty, kteří si jej zapsali v souladu s doporučenými rekvizitami.
