Syllabus -
The Summer term focuses on adverbial conjunctions, inversion, participial clauses, and forms of citation (reporting structures). We discuss discursive essays: how to identify the important ideas in a piece of writing and respond forcefully to them, how to express your ideas economically and coherently. This leads to a presentation (topic chosen by the student) and a final essay based on your presentation.
