This lecture course follows the winter semester course Inorganic Chemistry I (a) and is intended for students of chemistry courses. The topic covered are systematic inorganic chemistry with main emphasis put onto the properties, reactivity patterns and practical applications of Group 1, 2, 13 and 14 elements, transition metals, lanthanides and actinides. Attention is paid also to fundamentals of coordination chemistry, catalysis with transition metal compounds, organometallic chemistry and bioinorganic chemistry.

The exam is combined - written test plus oral examination. The prerequisite of the exam is a credit from the seminar which accompanies this lecture.
