The seminar is intended for medievalists of all departments. It will concentrate on both written and spoken English in academic contexts. We will discuss both more general topics such as titles, abstracts, paragraph structure, CVs, and particular issues (articles, paralelism, nominalization, depersonalization, hedging, coherence and cohesion). There will be obligatory homeworks for every class as well as tests and a final assignment.
