| The Orientation Course is intended for first-year students of all bachelor's and follow-up master's degree programmes in both full-time and part-time forms of study. During the course, you will become familiar with the organization and structure of your studies, as well as the university information systems that you will use throughout your academic journey. Lecturers and programme coordinators will provide practical information and useful advice to help you successfully navigate not only your first year, but your entire course of study. You will learn how the faculty and the university operate, what services and opportunities are available to you during your studies, and how you can take part in study-abroad programmes and international exchange opportunities. An equally important part of the course is the opportunity to meet your future classmates—not only within your own programme, but also across different fields of study. To support this, the course offers a varied programme of icebreaker activities, team challenges, sports tournaments, and social events that will help you build new connections and make a smooth start to your studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University. |
