Programme profile:	The memorial in Lety is one of the unique places associated with commemorating 20th-century history, not only because of its history, but also because of the concept behind the memorial itself. The main theme of the seminar will be how to functionally incorporate visits to the memorial and other places of remembrance into teaching and school educational programs. What added value can a visit to an authentic place of remembrance offer? What can we focus on with the class during the visit? What can students learn? The seminar will take place on the site of the memorial and will incorporate both on-site work and exhibition activities. We will try out some of the possible educational approaches in a workshop format.
