Embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and personal development with our comprehensive course focused on self-discovery, personal growth and well-being. Designed to enable individuals to cultivate and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and unlock their full personal potential, this course offers an effective holistic approach to personal development. Through a series of interactive modules and personal challenges, participants will explore different aspects of their identity, beliefs, values, attitudes and emotions, gaining invaluable insight into their unique strengths, as well as identifying challenges and opportunities that can further advance them personally and otherwise. Each implemented activity will be reflected on under the guidance of experienced lecturers. Furthermore, participants will try facilitated self-reflection exercises, mindfulness exercises and activities aimed at acquiring the competence of setting realistic goals with development potential. The aim of the course will be to further increase the self-awareness and inner perception of the participants as well as their resilience.
Teacher Education of Physical Education for Upper Secondary Schools
Self-discovery course
1 day: arrival, accommodation, lunch; afternoon activities: Understanding Self: Exploring personality traits, strengths/weaknesses, and core values to cultivate a sense of identity and purpose.
Day 2: breakfast, Emotional Intelligence: Developing skills in self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy and social skills to improve emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships, lunch, Mindfulness and self-care: Learning stress management, relaxation and self-compassion techniques to support mental and physical well-being, dinner
Day 3: survival day: activities applying the skills learned in the previous days
Day 4: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner: Goal Setting and Self-Motivation: Setting meaningful goals, overcoming obstacles, and cultivating a growth mindset to achieve personal and professional success.
