| The course will take place on April 26th–28th, 2024, and May 17th–19th, 2024, and is intended for the general public, coaches, educational professionals, and students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FTVS) at Charles University. The aim of the course is to train participants for the profession of Lifeguard, which involves ensuring prevention, safety, and first aid at pools, swimming pools, water parks, and supervised water areas in accordance with current legal norms in the Czech Republic. Upon completion, students from FTVS UK can apply for credit recognition for the elective subject PPLS057. Prospective participants should be able to swim a distance of 100 meters continuously using a chosen swimming technique within a time limit of at least 2:00 minutes. |
