| Francouzská feministická filozofie 20. století se opakovaně zaměřuje na otázku těla a jeho souvislosti s tvorbou lidské a specificky ženské subjektivity. Tato práce si klade za cíl porovnat přístupy k této otázce v dílech dvou klíčových, avšak alespoň zdánlivě si vzdálených autorek, Simone de Beauvoir a Luce Irigaray. V díle Simone de Beauvoir nacházíme to, co lze nazvat feministickým existencialismem, který částečně chápe tělo jako častokrát omezující, ne-li přímo jako překážku pro ženský subjekt v jeho žití. Irigaray naopak na onu samou tělesnost klade pozitivní důraz a chápe ji jako klíčový prostředek pro pozitivní diferenciaci žen. Cílem této práce je jednak zodpovědět otázku, zdali je existencialistická pozice de Beauvoir slučitelná s esencialismem Irigaray, a také zda je vůbec správné považovat pozici Irigaray za esencialistickou, jak se to často děje |
