Guidelines

Ačkoliv archivní teorie a praxe dospěly s příchodem digitalizace k větší inkluzivitě, objevují se nové a nové audiovizuální artefakty, které disciplína nedokáže uspokojivě zachytit. Magisterská práce se bude zabývat ztracenými, nesamozřejmými či marginalizovanými audiovizuálními objekty, jež byly důležitou součástí raně digitální éry a populární kultury, nicméně i díky nedostatečné pozornosti archivních kruhů téměř vymizely z kulturní imaginace. K vyznačenému problému přistoupíme skrze teoretický přístup, který budeme definovat jako “fetišistické sběratelství”. Pojem sběratelství, inspirovaný Walterem Benjaminem, umožní konceptuálně uchopit, jak vyřazené objekty opětovně zapojit do kulturní paměti a zároveň problematizovat normy, které přístup do kulturní paměti strukturují a ohraničují. Fetišismus coby obsedantní zaměření na zdánlivě nepodstatný detail zase dovoluje nesamozřejmé objekty vůbec vidět, zbavit artefakty nálepky zbytečnosti či diskurzivní nepřijatelnosti. V širším slova smyslu se výzkum bude opírat nejen o současnou teorii archivace audiovizuálního materiálu v neustále se proměňujícím mediálním prostředí, ale i o mediální archeologii, jež skrze detail vykresluje podobu celku.
Diplomová práce bude připravena v souladu s platnými vnitřními předpisy FF UK a dalšími metodickými pokyny a normativními dokumenty.
