Guidelines

Táto práca sa zaoberá vzťahom medzi demokraciou a populizmom. Cieľom práce je zodpovedať otázku, či je populizmus hrozbou demokracie. Pozostáva zo štyroch častí a má teoretický charakter. Prvá časť je zameraná na objasnenie pojmu demokracie, charakteristiku demokratickej spoločnosti, ako aj to, či je vôbec možné jednotne definovať demokratickú spoločnosť. Taktiež sa sústredí na fenomén politickej jednoty a mnohosti, ktorý v demokracii prirodzene nastáva. S tým súvisia aj nedostatky demokracie, ktoré sú taktiež rozoberané v prvej časti práce. Druhá časť práce pojednáva o populizme a cieľom tejto časti je tento fenomén presnejšie definovať a rozobrať pojem ľudu, s ktorým populizmus často pracuje. Táto časť práce sa taktiež sústredí na to, ako populizmus reaguje na nedostatky demokracie. Cieľom tretej časti je porovnanie vzťahu medzi demokraciou a populizmom podľa Jan-Werner Müllera a podľa Pierra Rosanvallona. A napokon, záver práce sumarizuje argumenty prvých troch častí, ako aj odpoveď na úvodnú problematiku.
