Guidelines

Práce má za cíl analýzu zobrazení ženských postav na korintských vázách archaického období. Zatímco obdobná zobrazení na attických (černofigurových) vázách byla vícekrát podobně zpracovaná, v případě korintské (černofigurové) keramiky se zájem badatelů zatím koncentroval spíše na vybraná témata, např. trojský cyklus, tzv. Frauenfest nebo komasti / tzv. padded dancers. Náplní práce bude ikonografický popis žen. Charakterizujte vývoj jednotlivých motivů či scén a kompozicí v celém sledovaném období – v případě potřeby i na protokorinstké keramice – s ohledem na tvar, funkci a kontext použití nádob, na kterých se daná zobrazení nacházejí. Pokuste se identifikovat jejich sémantický význam vzhledem ke společenskému a kulturnímu kontextu Korintu v 7. a 6. stol. př. n. l. V závěru porovnejte definované konvence se zobrazeními žen na současných attických černofigurových vázách. Sestavte katalogový přehled uvedených zobrazení.
