| Ve své práci se budu věnovat teorii antropologie rituálu z hlediska současných antropologických proudů. Práce se bude odvíjet od zásadních badatelů 20. století (jakými jsou například Victor Turner, Mary Douglas aj.), jejichž koncepty se zapsaly nejen do kánonu antropologie, ale také do antropologicky zaměřené religionistiky. V práci si budu klást otázky, jak jsou tyto koncepty (liminalita, čisté/nečisté …) stále plně aplikovatelné ve své původní podobě a jakým způsobem je s nimi možné pracovat dnes. K tomu bude práce skládat argumenty současných (nejen zcela výlučně) antropologicky orientovaných akademiků. Jednotná specifikace jejich zaměření je nesnadná, jejich texty obsahují myšlenky posthumanismu, STS, poststrukturalistické a filosofické antropologie, dekonstrukce a mnoho dalších. V práci tyto koncepty pod hlavičkou klíčových autorů představím a jejich původní texty znovu přečtu optikou vybraných kriticky laděných textů. Pokusím se vyhodnotit opodstatněnost kritiky a co mohou osvědčené koncepty podrobené kritice dále nabídnout. Také zvážím, jak kritika antropologie rituálu/náboženství může ovlivnit religionistickou scénu obecně. |
