Guidelines

Diplomová práce se zaměří na užití metafory v humoru ženské stand-up komedie. Práce se bude věnovat především systematickému užití metafor v rámci teorie konceptuální metafory (Lakoff & Johnson 1980). V teoretické části práce představí teorii konceptuální metafory a dále se zaměří na vztah metafory a humoru. Krátce bude představen také žánr stand-up comedy.
Pro praktickou část autorka sestaví vzorek 200 příkladů konceptuálních metafor z anglických textů stand-up komiček. Tyto příklady budou analyzovány z hlediska příslušnosti ke určité konceptuálně metafoře. Cílem práce je zjistit, které konceptuální metafory jsou v ženském stand-up humoru nejvíce zastoupeny a která témata jsou jejich prostřednictvím prezentována. Obecnějším cílem práce je popsat vztah stand-up humoru a konceptuální metafory.
Práce bude vypracována v anglickém jazyce.
