| Destrukce uměleckých děl, přesněji destrukce coby nedílná součást uměleckého procesu či jako podstata výsledného díla samého, se jako princip objevuje na mnohých místech minulého století v umění moderním i postmoderním. Ať už se jedná o hravou provokaci, protest proti systému nebo jiný důvod, pro který se umělci a umělkyně rozhodnou umělecké dílo zničit či jej vytvořit tak, že je určeno k nevyhnutelnému zániku, destrukce se zdá být nedílnou součást kreace. Nejen destrukce fyzická, ale i více teoretické podoby negace umění budou tématem této diplomové práce, jež se za pomoci příkladů z minulosti pokusí pochopit jejich význam a souvislosti s dobovým kontextem. Dále si položí otázku, v jaké formě se objevuje destrukce v umění současnosti, a v závěrečné časti textu se pak zaměří zejména na fenomén odcházení současných umělců z umělecké scény a možnosti umělecké praxe budoucnosti. |
