Práce bude zkoumat arabsko-islámskou racionalitu na přelomu 19. a 20. století a její inspirativní zdroje v kontextu dědictví racionalistických proudů z klasického období islámské civilizace. Zaměří se na iráckého básníka Džamīla Ṣidqī az-Zaháwího a analýzu jeho básně Vzpoura v pekle, jež je svou myšlenkou nadřazenosti rozumu nad zjeveným náboženským příkazem explicitní obhajobou racionality a zároveň jednoznačným dokladem Zaháwího pokrokového myšlení. Pokusí se o širší kontextualizaci autora tím, že se bude věnovat i jiným modernistickým a racionalistickým myslitelům arabsko-islámského světa. |
