| Autor se ve své práci bude věnovat společenskému a rituálnímu významu lukostřelby - se zohledněním její vojenské role - v čínském starověku. Těžiště práce bude spočívat v popisu vývoje v období Letopisů (770-453 př. n. l.) a následující době Válčících států (453-221 př. n. l.), přičemž autor se pokusí zjistit, zda mezi těmito dvěma obdobími došlo v souvislosti s velkými společenskými a politickými změnami, které významně souvisely i se změnami ve způsobu boje a v obecnějším rozšíření vojenské povinnosti, i k proměnám ve funkci a statusu lukostřelby. Za tímto účelem využije sekundární literaturu v čínštině i západních jazycích, stejně jako prameny zahrnující texty historiografické, ritualistické, nicméně i legislativní. |
