| Náplní práce bude výzkum Scrutonovy hudební estetiky v kontextu jeho filozoficko-estetického systému se zaměřením na jeho kritickou polemiku s vybranými hudebně sémiotickými přístupy. Cílem práce bude prostřednictvím takového výzkumu ukázat, jakým způsobem Scruton vstupuje do debaty s převážně anglo-americkými estetiky, uplatňujícími sémiotické a lingvistické teorie na hudební problematiku, a nakolik přispěla tato polemika k formulaci a rozvoji jeho vlastní hudební estetiky. Práce se bude metodicky opírat o analýzu Scrutonových textů vztahujících se k tématům hudební sémiotiky a estetiky a jejich komparaci s klíčovými texty autorů, s nimiž Scruton vede kritický dialog. |
