Guidelines

Autorka se bude věnovat roli hudby a tance ve strukturování společenské hierarchie, v legitimování politické moci, stejně jako v rámci politických interakcí v době Západní Zhou (cca 1045-771 př. n. l.) a především Letopisů (770-453 př. n. l.). Přitom bude vycházet z pramenů pro dané období, v první řadě z Knihy písní (Shijing) a kroniky Zuozhuan, přičemž na základě sekundární literatury přihlédne i k údajům, které k danému tématu poskytují nápisy na bronzových nádobách. Nejprve na základě sekundární literatury ve stručnosti shrne vývoj významu tance v prostředí elity od doby prvních písemných záznamů z pozdní doby Shang (cca 13.-11. stol. př. n. l.) se zřetelem k jeho významu v legitimování moci panovníka při rituálech a následně se bude věnovat podrobnější analýze výše uvedené problematiky v pozdějších obdobích. Pozornost bude věnovat především následujícím tématům: 1) roli hudby a tance ve vytváření a demonstrování hierarchie v rámci aristokratické vrstvy doby Západní Zhou a Letopisů, 2) významu hudby a tance v legimování politické moci zhouského královského domu a vládnoucích rodů jednotlivých lenních států, a to především prostřednictvím připomínáním jejich zakladatelských mýtů, legend a významných politických událostí, 2) užití hudby a tance v politických interakcích mezi jednotlivými státy a aristokratickými domy doby Západní Zhou a Letopisů.
