Guidelines
This thesis aims at investigating the pronunciation of English phonemes in Czech primary school children, assessed with a standardised reading task (YARC - York Assessment of Reading and Comprehension). The thesis will consist of the following steps: Introduction presenting current research on the acquisition of phonology in sequential bilingual children, experimental part describing data collection completed in schools, data analysis and results, discussion of the results in relation to the literature on the acquisition of phonology and reading skills in bilinguals.

This thesis will be written in English.
