| Cílem mé práce je uvést méně známý francouzský středověký Román o Fauvelovi do širšího povědomí a představit ho jako hodnotný pramen pro studium společnosti vrcholného středověku a jejích mravních hodnot. Díky Fauvelovi, koni, co se stal králem lidí, se má čtenář možnost ponořit do života na královském dvoře a odhalit jeho pravou tvář. V mé práci se sama vydám na dva významné evropské dvory, které spojovala osoba Jana Lucemburského, a sice dvůr francouzský a český. Pokusím se poukázat na to, jak vlastně ctnostná a neřestná byla společnost okolo krále i král samotný. Co vlastně chce příběh o Fauvelovi čtenáři říct?
Práce bude využívat také poznatky z jiných disciplín, jako je literární věda či výtvarné umění, neboť příběh o Fauvelovi je zachován i ve výtvarné podobě na mnoha iluminacích. Dílčí výsledky budou průběžně konzultovány s vedoucím bakalářské práce. The goal of my bachelor thesis is to introduce the little-known French medieval novel Roman de Fauvel to a larger awareness and present it as a valuable source for studies of the medieval society and itsbehaviour. Thanks to Fauvel, a horse who becomes a king of the people, the reader has an opportunity to immerse into the life at the court and uncover its true face. In my bachelor thesis, I will follow two important European courts, the court of France and the court of Bohemia, which were connected by the king John of Luxemburg. Thus, I will try to show how virtuous and dissolute the society around the king and the king himself is. What does the story about Fauvel want to say to the reader? The thesis will employ knowledge of other disciplines, such as literary science or fine art, for Roman de Fauvel is kept in many illuminations. All strands of the thesis will be regularly consulted with the thesis supervisor. |
