| Práce se bude věnovat reprezentacím stereotypu „chamtivého Žida“, jenž se mohl stát inspirací pro postavy v moderních narativech, které však již explicitně nezobrazují zástupce židovského etnika, ale typ postavy, která oplývá stejnými vizuálními a charakterovými vlastnostmi, přisouzeným Židům. Nahlédne k historickým kořenům a motivacím konceptualizace tohoto charakteru a následně jej podrobí sémiotické analýze, zejména v pojetí poststrukturalisty Rolanda Barthese. Zároveň zohlední možnosti analýzy tématu z hlediska archetypální psychologie Jamese Hillmana a pokusí se nalézt styčné body obou těchto přístupů k jednomu objektu zkoumání, jsou-li přítomny. |
