| Tato práce se zabývá dílem výtvarného umělce Víta Soukupa, který tvořil zejména v devadesátých letech 20. století a na počátku 21. století. S ohledem na specifický charakter porevolučních let zasazuje jeho tvorbu do širšího dobového kontextu, zkoumá možnosti jeho inspirace a spektrum použitých motivů, pokouší se zachytit a popsat hlavní specifické rysy autorova rukopisu a snad i rozpoznat a pojmenovat některé hlavní a opakující se obsahové linie jeho díla. The subject of this thesis is the work of the visual artist Vít Soukup, who worked in the 1990s and the beginning of the 21st century. Taking the particular character of postrevolutional times into consideration it situates his art work into broader context of the time; it explores his possible sources of inspiration and breadth of the motifs used; it attempts to capture and describe the main features of his visual style and to discern and identify some of the essential messages repeated in his art work. |
