Guidelines

Tématem práce je dualistické pojetí konceptů těla (בשר) a ducha (רוח) v judaismu období Druhého chrámu. Termínem dualismus je míněn vztah těla a ducha jako antagonistických sil, vedoucích člověka buď k hříchu, nebo ke zbožnosti. Cílem práce je zmapovat rozšíření dualistického vnímání těla a ducha v židovské literatuře období (široce pojatého) přelomu letopočtu.

Východiskem práce bude text 4QInstrukce/Musar le-Mevin (4Q415ff.), sapienciální text datovaný do 3.—2. století př. n. l., který byl nalezen v Kumránu, avšak předpokládá se u něj nesektářský původ. Kromě analýzy role zmíněných pojmů v Musar le-Mevin a identifikace možných paralel v Pavlových dopisech se bude práce zabývat příklady analogické duality v pozdějších textech psaných jak hebrejsky, tak řecky (např. Závěti dvanácti patriarchů).
