| Práce se zaměří na adverbia (relativizers) when a where (případně why) uvozující vztažné věty adjektivní po obecných antecedentech místních a časových (place, country, town apod.; time, period, day apod.) a jejich možnou alternaci se větami substantivními (příp. adverbiálními). Vzhledem k tomu, že obecné místní a temporální antecedenty se často vynechávají a ze vztažné věty se pak stane věta příslovečná nebo vztažná substantivní, např. This is (the place) where it happened. We often met (at the time) when we both sang in the choir., práce se bude zabývat možností jejich vypustitelnosti. Postup práce: vyhledání příkladů vět se obecným místním a časovým antecedentem a zkoumání možnosti antecedent vypustit. Zároveň autorka bude inventarizovat lexémy, které se v této funkci vyskytují. Dalším krokem bude získání příkladů, kde when/where fungují jako fused relatives a uvádějí substantivní větu vztažnou. Cílem práce bude popis syntakticko-sémantického prostředí, které vynechání antecedentu umožňuje, a případů, které antecedent neobsahují. Práce bude vypracována v anglickém jazyce. |
