Guidelines
The focus of this B.A. thesis is the Ancient Egyptian god Seth in his very particular role as the guardian and defender or the sun god Ra based primarily on available epigraphic and iconographic evidence. The thesis will also examine the figure of Seth in a wider historical, religious, iconographic and ideological context in Ancient Egypt.
Smyslem bakalářské práce je pojednat o roli staroegyptského boha Seta jakožto ochránce a obránce slunečního boha Rea a to zejména na základě dostupných epigrafických a ikonografických pramenů. Kromě toho se zaměří i na historický, náboženský, ikonografický a ideologický význam boha Seta ve starověkém Egyptě.
