Guidelines

- autor zmapuje foneticko-fonologické znalosti starověké civilizace v Egyptě a její pojetí řeči a jazyka
- předmětem analýzy bude zejména hmotná kultura starověkého Egypta, a to včetně primárních písemných pramenů, ke kterým autor práce opatří své vlastní překlady s použitím interlineárního glosování (Leipzig Glossing Rules); zohledněny budou i prameny o egyptském písmu a jazyce pocházející od řeckých autorů
- získané poznatky budou kriticky porovnány s informacemi, se kterými pracují neegyptologické vědy, zejména současná fonetika a fonologie a medicína
- součástí práce bude též popis fonologického systému staré egyptštiny a osvětlení vzniku a vývoje starověkých písem na území Egypta a Předního Východu
